WHAT ARE CONFIDENT PEOPLE LIKE?

Having worked with confidence for many years I have found that confidence is something that can be cultivated and developed over time through self-awareness, practice, and personal growth efforts.

Here are some typical characteristics exhibited by confident people that can form a positive blueprint for anyone wishing to be more confident:

1. Positive self-image
Confident people tend to have a healthy self-esteem and view themselves in a positive light.

2. Assertiveness
Confident individuals are comfortable expressing their thoughts, opinions, and needs. They can communicate assertively without being overly aggressive or passive.

3.Resilience
Confidence is not shaken easily by setbacks or failures. Confident people tend to bounce back from challenges, viewing them as opportunities for growth.

4. Effective communication
Confident people are generally good at communication. They listen actively and speak clearly, making it easier for them to connect with others.

5. Self-assurance
Confident individuals believe in their abilities and judgements. They trust themselves to handle various situations, even when faced with uncertainty.

6. Empathy
Confidence is often accompanied by empathy and understanding for others. Confident people tend to be supportive and compassionate.

7. Decisiveness
Confident individuals are generally good decision-makers. They trust their judgment and make choices without excessive hesitation.

8. Body language
Confident people often exhibit positive body language, such as maintaining eye contact, an upright posture, and using open gestures. They appear comfortable in their own skin.

9. Optimism
Confidence often aligns with a hopeful and optimistic outlook on life. Confident individuals believe in a brighter future and are more likely to maintain a positive attitude.

10. Respect for others
Confidence doesn't equate to arrogance. Confident individuals respect others' opinions and ideas, even if they differ from their own.

We are all different and therefore will experience our confident selves in a unique way. It’s important to realise that no one is confident all of the time and moments of self-doubt are perfectly natural.

If you feel that you would benefit from cultivating and developing your confidence then get in touch and we’ll put together a confidence building plan for you that will help you in many different areas of your life. HERE’S TO CONFIDENCE FOR LIFE!
